The social worker will be responsible for providing case management and psychosocial support to vulnerable women & girls and survivors of gender-based violence at the Amina Women’s Day Centre in Athens and will be reporting to the PSS Coordinator.

Requirements:
Essential:
- Licensed Social Worker
- Minimum one-year professional experience in social work
- Minimum one-year professional in the refugee crisis context
- Excellent computer capability
- Experience with migrant and/or any vulnerable communities
Desired:
- Experience of providing support to women and girl survivors of SGBV
- Experience and familiarity with an intercultural working environment
- Experience in working with cultural mediators
- Experience in using pathways and procedures of the Athens context
- Experience in psychosocial and group program implementation
- Additional language skills (French, Farsi, Arabic) are an advantage but not required
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Participate in the daily life of the centre
- Identify the needs of vulnerable women & girls and form appropriate case management plans
- Liaising with the relevant NGOs for referrals to appropriate services
- Receive SGBV survivors, perform risk assessments & construct Physical & Social Safety plans with them
- Accompany to and link vulnerable women & girls with appropriate services and ensure follow up
- Update the Service Mapping & Referral Pathways for available services and procedures
- Keeping accurate and confidential updated records on each case
- Preparation of reports
- Participate in the design & implementation of psychosocial activities
